The deceiving and immorality is very open here and we can see that through the character Gatsby's affair with Myrtle and we can see how adultery can easily lead to an unwanted death. Myrtle tragically dies after being hit by Gatsby’s car. But it is Daisy who is behind the wheel on the way to East Egg. She is allowed to do it to help settle her anger. Before the accident, Myrtle noticed Tom going around the city in Gatsby’s car. Then, she sees it again from the window and supposes Tom is driving.
