Today I wanted to touch briefly on the peer review process. After grading your peer review worksheets, I noticed many of you gave similar styles of review to one another. I’d like to talk about what makes an excellent peer review.
You may have been hesitant to give your peers a critique on their paper, and/or you may have been nervous to receive a critique on your paper. This is completely understandable. It can be challenging to put your writing in front of others and then be prepared to hear that you need to change some things in it.
