I think the movie “Crash” is the best movies we have watched this semester. It does a good job reflecting on how society is serotyping many things and how the social injustice exists. Movie basically connects many stories and people about the social issues such as race, class, family, gender, social injustice. At gun shop scene the shop owner does not want to sell gun after he hears Persian man and his daughter talks in their native language. That is just a great example of stereotyping. Because of the language they speak the shop owner thinks it is not safe to sell them the gun but at the end he chooses to do so. In the movie one of the characters is district attorney’s prejudiced wife Sandra Bullock. After she is carjacks she asks her husband to change the locks and she sees a man with tattoos changing the locks and she loudly claims they need to change the locks ageing …show more content…
Moreover this concept is still exist, some people still thinks they are better than everybody else just because of their skin color and even though it gets better in time it is still here, in people’s minds and not going away anytime soon.
