Those were the justification he used when he did all the things that people stereotype against him. He was enforcing those thoughts in people around him and yet he still complains about the stereotypes. Only once his interaction with Cameron is completed does he begin to think about his position. He’s a disgrace to himself living the life other people think he is and a disgrace to the black community for hurting the reputation of all of them. This portrayal of living up to stereotypes sets a backbone to the story as the example that enforces every other stereotype in the movie, because he lives up to it why wouldn’t every other race live up to theirs.After Anthony begins to see himself as responsible for his actions does he start to change. That change in belief for who is responsible for his actions and that he isn’t a bad person shows the other side of his character. The ideas that there are at least two sides to a person is shown throughout the movie for the majority of the main characters, and the difference between the sides is one of the most powerful parts of the movie to
