I do not believe President Roosevelt was justified in ordering Executive Order 9066 which led to the internment of Japanese American citizens. This order violated human rights such as; freedom of speech and religion. I would also argue that the Japanese citizens are perfectly capable workers that had to be replaced by men who could have went into the military. One might argue that Roosevelt had the right to be worried. However, the racism and paranoia that is associated with this decision shouldn't be included in a government decision. To begin with, the order that President Roosevelt allowed to happen violated basic human rights. These rights include but are not limited to; freedom of speech and religion. These are all rights that
