We used a microphone to direct the participants through the motions and to call off the numbers, so they were able to hear us. The chair bingo was a nice warm up because each indivual could participate as much or as little as the physically could. We all spread around the room, so everyone was able to have some kind of visual aid for what was being explained. When we moved onto the Bingo portion we handed out the boards, and the activity staff found us some checker chips to use. The chips worked out nicely in one sense that that they were larger and easy to manage but the down side was they were a little to big to fit neatly on the boards. But everyone made due with it. We randomly would draw slips of paper out of a bag. Each paper had a number that the participants would find on their board. Once they found their piece we would explain and demonstrate the movement they had to do. Then we would all do it together. Some of the 24 exercises included Overhead punches, knee extension, and wrist flexion/extension. When a participant called out bingo, we would reset all the boards. We were unsure if the lack of prizes would deter people from continuing to play but their competitive nature definitely came out as we continued. Overall this activity focused on the GM and FM movements of both the UEs and LEs. It encouraged them to increase their physical activity. It also had a cogntivie component. They had to be aware of the number being called and where to find them while also being aware of if they had to call out bingo for their card. Along with being able to follow the instructions of the
