The four pillars of the National Honor Society are of great importance to not just its members, but to every student. Throughout my time, I have grown to best exemplify a person of character. I believe in the importance of treating others with the same respect one would expect in return. This not only includes teachers, administrators, and parents, but also my fellow peers. There is a necessary fairness in giving everyone the benefit of the doubt despite contrary opinions.
