The question on why I have acne has been a common query to most people. Although having acne is known to lower self esteem, the victim of the condition should not really feel quite out of this world. Scientific researches show that around eighty percent of the people had acne in their teenage life. Therefore, the victims should not have their self esteem lowered since this is a state that most people have subsequently had to persevere at one time of their life.
Although there are many causes of acne, the condition is linked to changes in hormones level which mostly occur during the puberty stage.
