I was only twelve years old and I was on the Giants, we were playing the Brewers one of the worst teams in the league. My friend was pitching for the Brewers that game and I was excited to face him. During my at-bat I could tell he was pitching around me, not giving me a pitch to hit. He, however, made a crucial mistake and threw me a high fastball, my eyes got wide and I took a swing. I connected perfectly, sweet spot to the ball, the ball sailed into the top part of the bushes for my first career home run.
