Minors accused of serious crimes should be tried as adults. Students and children have been learning right from wrong throughout everyday life, little errors are helping them learn to make better choices in life, but a mistake as serious as murder, they need to be tried as adults. For example in Nine year old Cameron Kocher shot his seven year old neighbor. Cameron was at an age where he was able to know that “playing” with a gun can cause some serious consequences, but he had the motive of revenge towards a young girl. He had the reasoning of any nine year old by getting even and “defeating the villain”. Anyone, no matter what age or gender, are hesitant when they are about to do something wrong.
