They need to focus on school, not just sports. If they go on to college to participate in sports, they will not only play sports, but also attend classes. If athletes only go to school for sports, it takes away what a school’s purpose is actually for. Student Athletes care only about their sport, and not their schoolwork. They tend to spend more time in the field
