Beyond the test papers the teachers need to teach ‘generic skills’ . However to teach generic skills, when being supported by teacher in academic and vocational, environments should be designed to “provide authentic practice” that engages students through situated learning and through legitimate peripheral participation which leads to adults who are more professionally able in a economically defined in a vocation skill . Teachers also need to hold higher expectations of students , which suggests that social and economic affects are also beyond test environment. Due to different teaching styles and methods in the classroom used by the teacher, the affects can be varying small to large, so this is suggesting that there should be a standardised way of teaching, which teachers can work alongside to reduce negative …show more content…
This improved “human capital” , which is defined as personal knowledge, skill, and judgement , has a positive economic affect on society where people are able to find stable and self-sufficient employment . A better-educated work force also leads to greater research, which can lead to superior innovations. These innovations can affect people socially, such as development of mobile phones whilst improving the work force with new technology to use and sell – and as the more educated society is, the greater impact it makes . As well as a positive social affect where people experience less alienation and mistrust government decisions that would, in turn, reduce riots and protests creating a more socially positive environment. There is also an economic affect that, children of well-educated parents are less likely to seek for government grants, even when available . To maximise this achievement this should be supplemented with “up-to-date instructional materials and technology” , and along side additional programs and services this may be too
