1. What would you include in a brief summary on the history of the modern environmental movement, from the 1960s to the present?
The history of the modern environmental movement from the 1960s to the present consist of the a lot of Acts that were created to help the world such as the Air Pollution Control Act around 1955, the Clean Air Act in 1963, the Water Quality Act in 1965 and a few others. By this time certain animals were becoming endangered. The more acts being created helped humans make a better difference in the world for themselves and others. Nowadays there are more people taking care of the world than before to where even the government is getting involved.
2. Explain the primary concern over exponential population growth. What promotes exponential population growth? What constrains exponential population growth?
The primary concern over exponential population growth is there isn’t enough help and resources to provide a healthy lifestyle for the earth. There are families who depend on the help from the government to help them provide for their family and survive. Knowing that there are families who need assistance from the government is the reason why there I promotion in exponential population growth. Even though there is nothing wrong with growing your family that is something that constrains exponential population growth. With more individuals in the population that also can cause trouble everywhere else from schools to childcare and etc.,
3. What is carrying capacity? Compare predictions for human population growth in developed countries versus developing countries. What will occur if carrying capacity is exceeded?
Carrying capacity is knowing a population in an area and being able to survive off the resources that are available to them then. For the countries who have already developed, the human population is lesser than a country just starting to develop. Things are much different now compared to years ago so there are more options in what to do
