Academic Summary: “Eyewitness to Jim Crow” In the article “ Eyewitness to Jim Crow: Edith Farris Remembers” Edith Veitch Farris suggests that the equality seen in America today is what makes the United States a great nation. Farris supports her suggestion by providing anecdotes of her experience as a white child in the 1940s.
