I have been school-of-choice at Springport High School since freshman year, this has led to some difficulties with rides to events but I always make it to FFA sanctioned rescue centers as well as with my FFA chapter. The center where I have done the most community service is Wildside Animal Rehabilitation Center, the second most time was spent at the Eaton County Humane Society. Both of these places are non-profit and rely solely on events, for this reason, I have won many awards at both the state and chapter level. My state level awards are; Bronze Dairy Placement Proficiency(2017), State Degree(2017), Gold Academic Excellence(2017), 1st place State FFA Science Fair(2016), Silver Goat Production Proficiency(2016), Outstanding Junior(2016). My chapter level awards are; Star Greenhand(2014) and Academic Excellence(2016). I am proud of my accomplishments from the past few years because I have struggled much throughout the process of attaining them. My struggles have shaped who I am as a person as well as who I am as a worker. Being a child of divorced parents has not helped me financially prepare for college so I am looking to scholarships and grants to help me succeed as a student and become a Large Animal Veterinarian in eight
