Faith Haven: Annotated Bibliography

Faith Haven is a nonprofit agency that shelters the abused and neglected. Nine times out of ten, most of the children come from a home of violence, mental or physical abuse and/or neglected. I am working on a case that is different from any that I have worked on. The case involves a 14 year old bi-racial male, his mother is Hispanic and his father is Caucasian. He was taken into state custody because the mother neglected his personal care and abused drugs. The father had abandoned the family so Tyler found a way to cope by cutting himself. The case workers notes stated, that Tyler has attempted suicide at least once, but continues to cut himself, therefore when I did his intake packet, I was not able to use staples because the social workers
