Why do familial ties have a way of coming back together? Like Emma said in our seminar, like raindrops, family members are all individual. At the end of the day, they come together to make a puddle. Are familial ties truly unbreakable? That is a question that I ask myself all throughout the play. It isn’t as obvious to the characters that they will all reunite but as readers, we know they will. The use of farse, exchanges, water, as well as abuse of power lets us know that they will come back together. Families are very resilient, and can always bounce back from whatever troubles they are faced with.
