This is a novel about family life and the relationships between them. Cheating, fighting, arguing, divorce, compromising, reconciliation and regrets – all in one story. The main character is Mark, 30-year-old publishing company owner, who‘s point of view is used to tell the story. Mark is responsible father for his 8-year-old son Tom, however Mark is cheating on his wife Olivia and asks her for a divorce. But Olivia has her secret and does not agree with the peaceful separation. Mark suggests to leave her the house, 30% of his company stocks. He would even give up on his rights to the child, still his wife would not give up. After long arguing, she asks for a compromise. Moreover, she would not demand any of his fortunes if Mark would agree to the one condition: every morning for the next months he would have to carry her in his arms from their bedroom to the living room, like the first time when they bought the house. In that way they would still look like a happy family in front of their son’s eyes and by the end of the term they would gently prepare him for a parent’s break-up. In addition of his wish to end things quickly as possible Mark agrees with her terms with no questions and responsibly fulfills his part of the agreement. The new duty of Mark’s causes problems between him and his mistress and the man finds himself in a love triangle. Therefore, as the days go by, he will fall in love with his wife again. Olivia and Mark rediscovers their feelings, buried deep under the daily routines and even goes to the couple dates.
