The education justice repair would be for both the farm workers and their children. The education I’m referring can range from job training to GED opportunities. Education around their rights and how to identity when abuse is occurring to them is a must as well. Many of the violence that farm workers put up with goes unnoticed because of the lack of understand and education about the topic itself. Lastly, education for their children should be revised across the nation, starting in Iowa. Many of the farm workers move between Iowa and Texas throughout the year. This makes it hard for them to enroll their children in school. Some schools dislike how the children are only going to be enrolled for a period of time. Educators should look at this as an opportunity to maximize their time with the children so they don’t lose interest in their education. We need to help their children see a different future for themselves and this will involve financial assistance from the state of Iowa to start with. Negotiate a deal with the public colleges in the state to create and recruit children of farm workers that have ever worked in the state. This will help break several cycles such as poverty, abuse, and lack of
