One group from rural organizations help created the populist party, is called the farmers' Alliance. The organization is a group of southerner farmers, teachers, ministers, and physicians. Their goals is to end the adverse effects of the crop-lien system on farmers, national control of railroads, increased the money supply, direct election of us senators, increase the farmers' political power, create cooperatives and su treasuries in order to withhold crops and raise prices on farm goods, graduated income tax, and coining of silver.
