During a weekend spent shopping with his daughter in New Jersey, rapper Fetty Wap threw cash at his fans. He threw two thousand dollars to his fans from a balcony. This can be viewed in several ways as I will explain shortly. The first viewpoint is that on a good note. Most of today's celebrities do not fully appreciate their fans and tend to be selfish and not share anything at all because they see their fans as annoying, not fully respecting the fact that if they did not have fans then they would not be in the position to have all of this money in the first place. Minus the miniscule amount of money donated to the fans, the way that he went about it can be considered rude. If you care so much about your fans, why not personally hand each fan some money instead of throwing it down to them like feeding animals? Another aspect of negativity in this would be the example that he is setting for his daughter. Fetty apparently came up with the idea for the donation because he was happy to be shopping with his daughter and later tweeted that, "never no who needed it."(Yahoo news blog). So in reality the rapper did not do it for the fans he was just happy to be shopping with his daughter and decided to throw some "chump change" away. I am not sure how old his daughter is but the lesson taught there in that moment is a wrong one. He basically showed his daughter that money rules the world and will get you respect and people to like you in an instant! that is a false representation of people for sure. I mean I do understand that you are rich and want to share the wealth-somewhat, but don't teach your child that money rules the world in doing so. Respect rules over money in any circumstance, and if you have all of that money that your fans made you, why are they all combined to be only worth a couple thousand
