In medieval times they had many things different from us such as social classes and political and economical systems. One thing they used was feudalism as a social class system. They also used manorialism as an economy system. Also the role “The Farmer” was essential to feudalism and manorialism. What The King gave was very important to the manor. What the King did was take his land and gives it out to peasants for them to grow food on. After the king received what he wanted the King gave them more land to grow on and do other services such as milling or baking. What the king also receives is important. The lord took some of their food and other things and used them, The King also received a military service for when his land was attacked (Biel 9). Then after they received this more land was given and the process repeated and The King got more of what he needed, ranging from military to food.
