“ The Cavemen in the Hedges” is a fictional story written by Stacey Richter. In it a woman named Kim changes her ways to adapt to society not only for herself but for her boyfriend. Kim wants marriage to see the commitment her boyfriend is willing to give her. After throwing so many hints and sarcastically saying marriage isn't her “thing” she realizes that her boyfriend wants nothing to do with commitment. Eventually she “rebels” and comes across new neighbors (which aren't as civilized as all the other neighbors around them) . They are compared to being “hippies”. One day these new neighbors come over to kims and her boyfriends house to introduce themselves , & that's where it all began. One of the “hippies” catches kims eye and ends up
