I agree with your post regarding the worsening of ageism in this generation. Interestingly, Raynor (2015) offered a solution to fighting ageism. In her article, Raynor (2015) pointed that baby boomers, 78 million of them, can engage in community services to fight ageism. Raynor (2015) further explained that the boomers were the most affected group by ageism due to the burden of caring for their aging parents. In addition, Raynor (2015) included how boomers tend to react to the youth-driven society by trying to preserve their youth and adapting to cosmetic surgeries. Nonetheless, Raynor (2015) cited on ways boomers contributed to multiple activities – civil rights, human rights, women rights- that prompted important societal changes.
