EXAMPLE SCENARIO: Elizabeth was stopped by the police for speeding in a school zone. The police officer also noticed she had an expired car registration. The officer gave Elizabeth two tickets, one for speeding and one for an expired car registration.
EXAMPLE QUESTION: What are three possible solutions that would have prevented Elizabeth from being ticketed?
Example answer: Elizabeth should have paid more attention to the flashing yellow light that designated the speed limit sign in the school zone. Elizabeth should have made sure the appropriate speed limit was utilized in the school zone. She also should have kept better track of when her bills are due by writing down on a calendar when the car registration was due.
Scenario: John has been out of high school for about 10 years, is married, and has 3 children in grade school. He has decided to enroll in the business associates program at Everest University Online for the purpose of being considered for promotions within his company. However, John is finding it difficult to get the homework assignments completed each week due to the 40-hour work week and home responsibilities.
1. Define the problem that John is having difficulty with and explain why you think he is not completing the weekly homework assignments. FORMTEXT I believe the reason that John is having difficulty getting his work completed is because he has been out of high school for ten years and has to get back into that school rhythm. Although he does work forty hours a week and has three children he should still keep a calender of the days he works and get a set time slot that he can concnetrate on his school work.
