A fishery biologist is a person that studies fish and their habitats. A fishery biologist might study a specific lake or fish and investigate populations numbers, migration patterns, breeding statics, or ecological impacts.
Some fishery biologist work on boats, others work near streams, lakes, and fish hatcheries and conduct experiments. To become a fishery biologist you have to go to college and get an degree. Most positions for a fishery biologist only require a bachelor's or master’s degree related to marine and fishery sciences.
