School Project Colony Creation #1 by Isaac Winn 2
Why did you pick the supplies and people you selected?
Supplies
First of all, I would get 5 Firearms for 5 different men (including me) out of the 15 people in the colony. I would also get 3 axes for chopping down trees, logs, and rope if needed. Then I would get 2 horses; a male and female, for pulling a wagon, meat, and reproduction. After that I would get 10 different pots and pans, and 1 stove, for cooking, hot bathing water, and humidifying the air, if needed. Next I would get cloth for winter ware, making clothes, and making bags.
Then I would get 6 shovels, for getting resources, and digging a well. Another item that I would …show more content…
Then I would do the same thing with 1 rooster, and 2 chickens, and 1 ram and 1 lamb. After that I would get 5 buckets of fresh water for drinking, (not bathing). Finally, I would bring 2 cabinets of medicine for the the sick people for the doctor.
People
The first person I chose, was a doctor, so that he could make the ill better and not so weak. The next people I chose were 2 soldiers, so when natives, or wild animals came, they could fight them off better than anyone else in the colony. Then I got 3 farmers because, the more hands the better, and just in case something happens to one of them. After that, I got 1 blacksmith for making, swords, jewelry, firing gold or other mining materials, etc. I got 1 translator, for if the Native Americans came, he could talk to them and possibly work something out, by not getting killed, and other situations. Finally, I would bring 6 children, so that they could help out everybody, and when they got older, they could go into different specialties.
