Food Inc. Argumentative Group Paragraph
Given the option of a substantial cheeseburger for only one dollar, would one choose a side of kale for nearly five times the price? In the documentary Food Inc., producer and famous author Eric Schlosser poses many questionable claims. However, he also highlights many valid reasons to support these assertions. Citing author Michael Pollan, Schlosser argues that “the biggest predictor of obesity in America is income level.” Restaurants such as McDonald’s and Taco Bell offer an array of highly processed menu items for as low as a dollar.
