To make a short film it costs about five to ten thousand dollars to make only one video. You would think that people would not want to spend that kind of money on a five minute film but these films are important. Bullying is one the most popular problems in our society today. The way the film was presented was effective because it shows what happens when you bully. Bullying will always probably be around, but by making films like these it will help decrease how much bullying goes on. If know one made films likes these there would probably be a lot more bullying than there is. My reaction to the film at first was I felt bad for the big bird who was being instigated, but once the other birds got what they deserved for being impolite it improved. The big bird did nothing wrong all he wanted to do was sit with them and the other birds were so mean they deserved what they got. The content of the film was exceptional because that type of thing appears a lot in real life.
Short films like this may be upscale to produce, but they are meaningful , because without films like these to show us life lessons we would act completely different. “ For the Birds” is a great representation of bullying and how it goes on.
