Throughout highschool I have devoted time to two, different organizations.
Organizations that in turn have taught me many things. One day I would love to be a forensic anthropologist because of the challenges and diversity it brings to one's life as well as the rewards of helping one's life. I strongly believe that my extra-curricular activities will help me achieve this lifetime goal.
Two of the extra curricular activities that I absolutely love are orchestra and speech and debate. Which have challenged me as well as motivated me to be better academically and mentally.

This gives me the knowledge of how to be a team player and how to work in a group with people of different personalities. The other extra-curricular activity I have been involved in is speech and debate. Being in a team has helped me break out of my shell a lot. This organization I can honestly say has taken me out of my comfort zone and has pushed me really hard. My speech and debate coach really tells one how it is and puts us in real life situations. I used to be the type of person that if you asked me a question or greeted me I would not say a word, I would just nod instead of speaking to the other person. I've learned how to not be a robot and to speak in front of a crowd. Through this class I have not only learned how to communicate with others well which, will help me out as an adult but I have also learned how to deal with stressful situations. I once had to memorize a 10 minute speech in a week because we had a competition coming up and this really helped me understand that there are deadlines to meet and a person isn't going to wait for me just because I couldn't get my life
