Forgiveness is a powerful force. It enables communication, heals wounds, and resurrects relationships, among other things. In the Glass Castle, many themes are presented. Although one that is the most persistent and the most prominent is forgiveness. Forgiveness in the novel is a very powerful force that, in Jeannette’s mom’s opinion, should be given no matter what. A very powerful message of forgiveness is exemplified from this quote from Jeannette’s mom Rosemary. “Everyone has something good about them,” she said.
