Former President Ronald Reagan made a really interesting speech in 1988 to college students in Moscow State University. His speech was intended to persuade and encourage the college student of Moscow into finding a good career path. In his speech he talked a lot about freedom. He said that without freedom, there isn't a single dream you can achieve. He says near the end of the speech, "The key is freedom -- freedom of thought, freedom of information, freedom of communication ". Reagan put hope the students to look for freedom as Russia was under communism at that time. I believe he said this to help students understand that communism was wrong and that students weren't getting all the freedom they deserved.
