Forsyth Tech has been a blessing to me, because it has offered me the chance to better my skill set in this competitive world. During these past two years, I have met various students who inspired me to work harder and some who I wonder why are they even attending classes. Through my observation, I have concluded that there are three types of students who attend Forsyth Tech.
First, there are the normal students who make up most of the student population at Forsyth Tech. These types of students are your average joe’s, who must study hard to maintain a good G.P.A. They will work well in group discussions and focus more on their studies than other social events. Some of these students will need some form of tutoring services to help maintain a good grade. These students are the Brainiac’s or sometimes referred as the nerd. I have befriended several of these types of students and some have even helped me in some of my more challenging classes. These students really don’t have to study as hard as the normal; most can retain the information given to them and ace the test the next day.
The downside to these type of students is that they can come across as arrogant. I was taking a computer class with a very intelligent young man. He knew everything about technology and bragged about how he could build the latest and greatest computer. During class, he begins to over talk the instructor on how the assignment should go; he truly was annoying to the rest of us. I must admit though, I envy these types of students because of their intelligence; this is what inspires me to do the best I can to stay
