When I was little, my mother was seldom around and my biological father had a restraining order preventing him from seeing me. I was raised by a lady we hired to be my full-time babysitter while teaching myself to be independent starting at the age of five. Growing up in a home that was not mine nor having the love of parents had a negative impact on me. It became difficult to let other people in and I often became angry. I anticipate to make a contribution of more family oriented foster homes along with adopting children in the future. I know I wasn't a foster child, but I do know that the life of not having a real home or parents is difficult. With my own money and the money I hope to raise, I want to be able to build houses and remodel current foster houses to give the children the atmosphere they need to nourish them and help to grow to be the person they want to become. The amount of children that end up on the streets or become addicts of some sort because of the negative care they received growing up is too high and needs to be lowered. The children did not wish for the life they were given nor did they get to pick their set of parents nor choose to be given up for adoption, so as the generation before them I feel that it is my responsibility to help make the environment become a place that nourishes them and grows them to be the next leaders of America. Every child should know what it feels like to be loved and worried about and even if I can not give ever child a set of parents, I can provide a home with caring foster parents and foster siblings that can love them the same amount of love as a set of parents could. In each home I plan and hope to give each child their own space, clothes, and luxuries. I want to partner with a electronic company to create a fund that will donate laptops to foster children where it will become theirs to keep where ever they
