There are four parenting styles: authoritative, authoritarian, permissive, and uninvolved. Each one has different reactions in children. There is not a correct way to go about parenting therefore every parent-child relationship is different.
Authoritative parents show their child a lot of love and warmth but also sensitive to the child needs. Nine times out of ten this would be the mom. For example, if her child takes a toy from another child while sitting in the doctor office, she would tell her child “That is not nice. When he is finish playing with it, then you can play.”
