I chose Fra Angelico because 1. I thought that the name sounded unique and different. 2. I haven't really heard of him so I thought that this would be cool to research. As an artist Fra Angelico excelled in painting. Because of his skills to paint he became famous. Did you know that Fra Angelico was first recorded as a artist at age 17. Or did you know that Fra Angelico wasn’t just a painter, he was also a monk. Fra Angelico also liked to do frescoes. In case you don’t know what a frescoes is here is the definition.
Fra Angelico was born sometime in the year 1400 in Florence, Italy, The exact birth date is unknown. And then on February 18th, 1455 he died, The cause of death is unknown. Fra Angelico didn’t have the biggest family at the time. He had a brother named Benedetto and was the son of Pietro, I could not find the mother or anyone else that was some how related to him. I could also not find any notes about his early life education. Of all the years Fra Angelico was alive he had never had a wife or kids. The first time Fra Angelico was recorded as an artist was near 1417.
