France is officially the French Republic and is the 42nd largest country in the world. It has a population approaching 67 million and so it is the 20th most populated country in the world. France has Roman Catholics, Atheists, Muslims, Protestants, Buddhists, and Jews, but the largest amount of people being Roman Catholic followed by Atheism. Throughout its long history, France has produced many infulanetail arists, thinkers, and scientists, and remains a proment global center of culture. It hosts the fourth largest number of cultural UNESCO World Hertiage Sites and recieves around 83 million foregin tourists anually – the most of any country in the world. France remains a great power with significant cultural, economic, military, and politcal influence around the world. France is a deveolped country with the world's fifth-largest economy, and the second-largest economy in in Europe, right behind Germany. Also, France has 31 out of the 500 world's biggest companies, so that makes Paris the second most importnat city for the 500 biggest companies. France's biggest industries involve telecommunications, aerospace and defense, ship building, pharmaceuticals, construction and civil engineering, chemicals, textiles, and automobile production. France is also the sixth-largest agricultural producer in the world, and EU's leading agricultural power. Northern France is characterized by large wheat farms. Dairy products, pork, poultry, and apple production are concentrated in the western region. Beef production in located in central France, while the production of fruits, vegatbles, and wine ranges from central to southern France. Since France is the second largest in agriculture, it is right behind the United States of America which is first. Another thing France is great in is tourism. France has the most tourism/tourists far surpassing the USA and other countries. France is also the second largest trading nation in Europe, behind Germany. France exports aircraft and engines, beverages, electrical equipment, chemicals, cosmetics, luxury items, and perfume to the US, making France the ninth largest trading partner with the US. Industrial chemicals, aircraft and engines, electronic components, telecommunications, computer software, computers and peripherals, analytical and scientific instrumentation, medical instruments and supplies, broadcasting equipment, and programming and franchising are particularly attractive to French importers.
