Almost every day after school, Ms. Knightly rides her bicycle to “Pleasant Valley Alley” a bowling establishment about a half-mile from the school. There, she likes to drink, relax, and unwind like other hard working individuals. Because of the licenses “The Gutter” has, a restaurant and lounge located in the bowling alley, it allows patrons of all ages to enter. Ms. Knightly has been observed drinking around her fellow students, but no students have been observed drinking while in her presence. Ms. Knightly has never acted inappropriately towards the students, nor any other individuals in that manner, under the influence. At the bowling alley, nothing is ever “off the table” for discussion with her students. She supposedly once told a group of students that the only thing worse for people than “chicken-fried steak with cream gravy is unprotected sex. And the only thing better than Belgian chocolate is protected sex.” Ms. Knightly is trying to teach her students that they need to be protected from sexual diseases and teen pregnancy when participating in sexual activities.
