This is a biography about the Australian scientist Frank Fenner. He was a virologist and a microbiologist.

According to Wikipedia, "Fenner was born on December 21, 1914 in Ballarat, Victoria". He then moved to Adelaide in South Australia and attended a school called Rose Park Primary School. He attended the University of Adelaide in 1938 and achieved a degree in medicine and surgery.
In 1938, Fenner changed his middle name to John (Frank John Fenner) because of Hitler’s Reign. He served in Australia, Egypt, Borneo, Palestine and Papua New Guinea from 1940-1946 as he was a part of the Australian Army Medical Corps. When he was working with malaria in Papua New Guinea in 1945, he was made a member of the Order
