He was once a six foot three teen who, over a two year period, grew to a six foot ten teenager who wasn’t comfortable in his own body. Frank recalled that he once walked out of the gym during a one on one with his dad because he got so frustrated with himself. I think that because he was so tough on himself and how much time he spent in the gym, helped him develop into the player he is today. I also think that because Frank’s dad never eased up, it was another key to Frank’s success. As Frank’s dad once said to him once, “either stop crying or go play soccer.” I also think that Frank got to where he was today because he was his biggest critic. That’s what a lot of kids need to be to themselves in order to better themselves. And that’s what Frank did to himself, but he made sure that he grew from his mistakes. Frank got to where he was because of the doubters and people who said he couldn’t. He showed those people that he could and in my opinion it took him a long way in his career. I think that Frank getting told that he didn’t make the travel team for his AAU team really kick started his journey to where he is
