Frederick Augustus was a slave in Talbot County, Maryland, as a slave he try to escape many times. But one day he mange to run away without being caught, this made him become a social reformer, abolitionist, orator, writer, and statesman .Frederick Augustus became famous and a great person remember for all his work in the past, should never be forgotten.
Frederick Augustus was living with his grandma until he had turn six and then he was sent to his new owner. At this new place he met many new people including Aron Anthony, was employed as an overseer. There he learning the alphabet by Sophia Auld also to read even though this was illegal. By the age sixteen Frederick was sent to a new owner name Edward Corley, this new owner would beat him. Frederick sprit felt broke and felt about giving up but instead he fought back not hurting his owner because that would of cause to death ,he fought by defending his self. His owner never try to hit Frederick ever again since that day. Frederick try to escape server times from Edward Corley but was caught and beat roughly .in 1838 he mange to escape with a group of friends. His mange to do this because he was working as a train boarder. Frederick soon met his love life with a women name Anna and had his first child with her ,rosette was born in 1839 in new Bedford .soon they had four more children son name Lewis Henry, Frederick Jr., Charles Redmond, and daughter Annie. Soon he joined in New Bedford and became a license speakers in an African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church. There he was encourage by William Lloyd Garrison to keep on speaking, Frederick was only 23and already ¬accomplished and eloquent public speaker.
