Frida Kahlo uses a lot of her cultural heritage in her art. This cultural heritage does not just mean where she is from but also her past experiences. She shows these in almost every painting she does. A few examples include painting many things with a Mexican background, adding skeletons to her paintings, and various paintings with her being injured or killed.
