We both know in stories that their are friendly people in the world.People that would care,support us and love us in their hearts.Friendship is important because you wouldn’t be alone anymore,you wouldn’t have to face things alone and you can spend times with people special and important towards us in our lives.In “Raymond’s Run”Bambara and Bridge to Terabithia Paterson their are caring,supporting and most of all being loved by people that care for their friends and people that are special.
In “Raymond’s Run” and Bridge to Terabithia they can show us how to be supporting towards your friend or even one of your family members.Like how Squeaky protects Raymond “If anybody has anything to say about his big head,they have to…show more content… In “Raymond’s Run” when Squeaky smiles for the first time with her enemy Gretchen.”It’s about as real a smile as girls can do for each other,considering we don’t practice real smiling every day,you know,cause maybe we’re too busy being flowers or fairies or strawberries instead of something honest and worthy of respect...you know...like being people” why I chose this long quote was because Squeaky never had the…show more content… In Bridge to Terabithia and “Raymond’s Run” they show us about being loved in the stories like when the part that Jess hears about when Leslie dies he was in shock that it made him ran away to Terabithia.”No he said straight at May Belle.”It’s a lie.Leslie ain’t dead.” I chose this quote because it shows that he loves Leslie from the beginning that they became friends and that he never wanted to hear that she was dead since he became good friends with each other and he didn’t want to hear something so difficult for him to come over from what was a tragedy to Jess.Another reason why is when Jess desired to see Leslie laid out when she was dead it would be the last time that he saw her beautiful smile ever again in his live and never remember what it was like with her by his side talking with him ,playing with her for his lifetime and making him smile.But most of all being his only friend there for him when he didn’t have any friends at all.In “Raymond’s Run”from the story “And by the time he comes over I’m jumping up and down so glad to see him-my brother Raymond a great runner” I chose this quote because Squeaky saw how well Raymond was at running she was so glad (from my perspective)being for (maybe) the first time that Raymond has done something that his family is good at making it a proud moment for Raymond and most of all to Squeaky.And because of that even though Raymond might be a little off sometimes he is stilled loved by his only and brave sister Squeaky.From
