In life, it can be easy for a person to feel like they have no purpose. However, this paper is about revenge. And it just so happens that revenge makes one of those good, all-encompassing life purposes. At least in the movies. From Inigo Montoya to the Punisher, revenge seems to be a common motivation. From the point of view of an author, revenge is a good motivator because to the character the world becomes black and white, and the reader can relate since everyone is hurt or betrayed at some point. But from the perspective of a person, revenge is even more attractive: it gives them a purpose while also allowing them to take all of their hate and discontent with the world- with society, with themselves, with the person that hurt them- and
