G. I. Joe the Real American Hero, that would be the one for me. I grew up in the ‘80s so G.I. Joe was right in my wheelhouse. Yo Joe started out with Army, Navy, Marine, Air Force in 1964 with the 11 and ½ inch doll figures (Hall, 2004). Then blossoming and expanding into over 60 figures per marketing year to feed the need of the expanding market. The Yo Joe, G.I.
