This poster is able to persuade and have an emotional appeal towards families for the purpose to maintain circulating war operations, so that Canadians and the Allies become victorious, and the factor of having fear or intimidation would be over. This poster itself has effectively used a wide range of images in it including captions, labelling, colour, placement and symbolism. This poster shows two Canadian children playing in a gloomy darkened front yard surrounded by a threatening black shadow of a swastika, referencing to the dark side of the Nazi’s and the negative influence it may have on you if you get exposed to them. Additionally, the dark and heightened colours of the swastika hinders the danger affiliated with the symbol, in comparison to the lighter spots on the yard that the kids are spotted in. Furthermore, it can be seen that the older child is aware of the danger and is trying to protect the younger child from being touched or caught by the swastika as the younger child is oblivious to the danger around
