Gallipoli is a movie that illustrates Australia’s part in World War 1 in 1915. This movie focuses around two main characters, Archie Hamilton and Frank Dunne. Archie is an 18 year old prize winning sprinter who has a strong desire to enter into Australia’s Light Horse Calvary even though he is underage. Frank is a former railroad worker who is low on money and happens to be a fast runner too. Both these men meet when they race against each other at an athletic carnival.
