Garlic’s average was 35mm, Tea Tree Oil was 21.5 mm and Oregano Oil was 29 mm. The graph that shows the percent change trend is that each natural antibiotic increases at trial number two and decreases at trial number three. It also shows that Oregano Oil had the biggest percent change. The graph that shows the averages of each natural antibiotic shows that Garlic had the biggest effect and Raw Honey at the least. The standard deviation graph’s trend is that it increases as you go to the right not including Raw Honey. The standard deviation also tells us that all groups were under two which tells us that the data was precise. The percent difference for each natural antibiotic showed that data was relatively close together but jumped up and down a few …show more content…
If more trials were performed it would allow for more data which can show more accuracy. The environment used to work in caused limitations of not having a large and clean area to work with and many other people could have touched the experiment. Another limitation would be that the natural antibiotics were all bought from different places and many not be in the purest form which would effect this experiment. Potential sources of error might include amount of bacteria in each petri dish, the temperature where the petri dishes were stored and the amount of a natural antibiotic put on each filter paper
