Introduction:
In light if the sky rocketing price of gas across America, the current feud overseas, and the fact I work at a fuel ethanol plant; I chose to conduct a survey which revolves around gasoline consumption. I conducted the survey at my place of work, Chippewa Valley Ethanol in Benson, MN, over the past couple of months. The targeted population included a wide variety of men and women of different ages whom I work with, along with their spouses. I felt this topic was very interesting and could provide some insight about how much we Americans spend on gasoline to get around, as well as, how the car we drive effects gasoline consumption.

Analysis:
From the results you can see that 30 males and 20 females took the survey. The average person sampled was between 28 and 37 years old, married, employed full time, and owns their own vehicle form the 21st century. Of these vehicles the majority were four wheel drive, with an average gas mileage between 16 and 21 mpg, with a gas tank holding between 14 and 16 gallons. I focused the majority of the analysis around the reported miles per gallon each sample reported, along with the type of car they reported they drive.
