Limited Target Market: With “Win from within” Campaign, Gatorade only targets a set of audience. The company is doing more to promote the drink to teenagers. The advertisement shows young teenagers getting motivation from their favourite athletes and the drink they consume to perform better. Doing so, Gatorade is limiting the number of consumers it can connect to.

Lack of focus on Health benefits: The advertisement campaign is all about motivating young athletes to never give up and do little to tell the customers about the benefits of this energy drink.

Confusion for customers: Gatorade is a performance enhancing sports drink and not an energy drink and that what makes it different from its competitors like Red Bull which is actually not
